Village Extended Day Services - the Afterschool Coordinator for this School - REQUIRES the creation and funding of a SparqX Enrichment Account prior to registering for Chess.

SparqX is a Village Extended Day Services' System.

Here are the Village Extended Day Services directions for creating a SparqX Enrichment Account:

• If you do NOT have a SparqX account you MUST create and fund a SparqX account prior to Enrollment for Chess.

• Parents cannot ‘log in’ they have to CREATE an enrichments account (one time)

• The link will reflect ‘SCHOOLNAME Enrichments’ in the browser window

• Copy and Paste this link into your Browser:

• Add email address in the Link – the system will email the parent a code
• The parent enters the code and follows the prompts to add information
• Once the account is created an email is sent to Village Extended Day Services & parent showing all added information
• Village Extended Day Services will then send a link to the parent to add payment details to their enrichments account
• Once the parent pays the administration fee, Village Extended Day Services provides a Receipt to the parent
• If a parent does not pay the administration fee, they will not move forward in the process and the Student may NOT attend the desired enrichment

Village Extended Day Services' Administration Fee:
• Administration Fee is $50 per student
• Charged one time per session (Session 1 SEP-DEC)(Session 2 JAN-MAY)
• Amount is $50 regardless of how many enrichments the student is enrolled in.

The Knight School Chess Team is your school's official chess team and chess party. The Knight School's approach has had amazing success -- winning multiple state championships -- because our unique and unprecedented educational philosophy, "the chess party," is the perfect way to transform a complete beginner into a devastating chess machine.

In this kid-centered classroom environment, we teach our kids every cool trick, strategy, and tactic in chessdom and our kids soon learn to love and master chess, their classroom, sports, and their home lives as well!

Upon enrollment, new students receive a TKS T-Shirt, chess set, chess bag, and all the colorful TactixBands they can earn!

Class meets in your child's school or online weekly for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
